CARE ADVICE
Caring for your coconut shell bowl is important as it’s a 100% natural product.
Follow these basic care instructions to ensure a long lasting coconut bowl.
WASHING
Hand wash with lukewarm soapy water. Do not use in the dishwasher or soak for a long period of time.
EATING
Coconut Bowls are best suited to room temperature and cool foods. For warmer foods to ensure durability, prepare your bowl for the change in temperature by first rinsing your bowl in lukewarm water and then setting it aside to dry.
USING
Do not expose your coconut bowls to extreme heat, and do not use in the refrigerator, microwave, oven or dishwasher.
TIPS
Polish with virgin coconut oil (or an oil of your choice) every 10 or so uses to restore your coconut bowls smooth and shiny surface, while resealing it’s pores.
On rare occasions hot foods can cause the bowls to crack.
