Production Process

Bamboo bowls are produced through a process that ensures maximum durability:

Selection & Processing: Bamboo is cut, dried, and transformed into fibers or sheets.
Molding & Compression: The fibers are mixed with natural resins and shaped using pressure and heat.
Sanding & Finishing: The surface is treated to enhance water resistance and ease of cleaning.

Bamboo Collection and Preparation

  • Mature bamboo stalks are harvested (typically after 3–5 years of growth).
  • The outer skin is removed, and the stalks are cut into smaller pieces.
  • These pieces are left to dry to reduce moisture and prevent mold formation.

Grinding and Conversion to Powder

  • The dried bamboo pieces are ground into a fine powder or small particles.
  • This powder is mixed with natural resin or corn starch to add stability to the final product.

Molding and Pressing

  • The bamboo mixture is placed into molds shaped like bowls.
  • High pressure and temperature are applied to harden the material and form the final shape.

Finishing and Coating

  • After cooling, the bowls are sanded to achieve a smooth surface.
  • A natural or biodegradable protective coating may be added for greater resistance to water and heat.

Packaging and Distribution

  • The bowls are inspected for quality, cleaned, and packaged.
  • They are then ready for sale or export.
Care Instructions

The best way to clean and sanitize bamboo bowls is to wash them with a kitchen sponge, dish soap, and running water, focusing mainly on the inside. As with all wooden items, dishwashing machines or prolonged soaking in water are not recommended.

To help extend the life of your bamboo bowls, it’s important to polish them about once a month with coconut oil or another oil of your choice. This helps restore their shine and seals the pores. Doing so will keep them fresh for years. Bamboo loves oil but not water.

It is also not recommended to store or place bamboo bowls in the fridge, freezer, oven, or microwave.

Store your bowls in a dry place and allow them to dry thoroughly after washing. Avoid leaving them full of water in the sink or exposing them to high temperatures, as in rare cases, they may crack or split.

Production Process

Crafted from a unique variety of strong, round coconuts, our bowls are available in three sizes (baby, medium, jumbo), offering variety for every need.

Each bowl is made from recycled coconut shells and handcrafted using traditional techniques. Carefully selected natural coconut shells are cleaned, cut, and smoothed by hand. They are then polished with coconut oil, without the use of chemicals or varnishes, to protect the natural beauty of the shell and ensure long-lasting durability.

Available in small, medium, and large sizes, the bowls feature wide openings, making it easy to fill them with your favorite ingredients — perfect for nuts, breakfast, smoothies, overnight oats, ice cream, or anything else your imagination desires. Their rich, dark brown color gives them a natural, tropical feel that stands out in every serving.

Handmade by talented artisans in Southeast Asia, our bowls are 100% eco-friendly and ideal for a sustainable lifestyle.

Care Instructions

It is important to take care of your coconut shell bowl, as it is a 100% natural product. Follow these basic guidelines to ensure the longevity of your bowl.

Washing: Wash it by hand with lukewarm water and soap. Do not soak it in water for extended periods, and avoid washing it in the dishwasher.

Food: The coconut bowl is suitable for serving food at room temperature or refrigerated temperatures. For hotter foods, it is advisable to prepare the bowl for the temperature change. First, rinse the bowl with lukewarm water and then set it aside until it dries. This process will ensure the durability of the bowl.

Usage: Do not expose the bowl to excessively high temperatures, and avoid placing it in the fridge, oven, microwave, or dishwasher.

Tips: Polish your bowl with pure coconut oil (or another oil of your choice) every ten (10) uses to restore its smooth, shiny surface and seal the pores.
Hot foods may cause cracking (in rare cases).
