STORAGE & SHELF LIFE

  • Store in a dry place at room temperature.
  • Once the package is opened make sure to keep it sealed to prevent moisture and to prolong shelf life.
  • Shelf life duration 2 years from date of fabrication.

BLUE OMBRE PANCAKES

Pancake ingredients (makes around 8):

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1 ¹/² tbsp blue spirulina
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt.

Method:

  • Sift the flour into a bowl, add remaining dry ingredients and mix.
  • In a separate bowl mix the non-dairy milk and apple cider vinegar.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients, and leave to sit for a few minutes. Add blue spirulina powder to the mixture. To create the ombre effect we slowly added the blue spirulina to the mix as we cooked each pancake.
  • In a pan, heat coconut oil. We used a spatula to measure the amount for each pancake.
